Origin and Processing
Tropical Summit comes from the Kapatenango plot associated with Finca La Maravilla in Huehuetenango, Guatemala.
The coffee is produced by Mauricio Rosales, who has spent years developing his family's coffee farm and exploring its potential for distinctive specialty lots.
In 1997, Mauricio and his father Guillermo acquired part of the land that became Finca La Maravilla. At that time, reaching the farm required traveling on foot or horseback.
Over the years, Mauricio has continued improving the farm's infrastructure and coffee processing practices, while cultivating a collection of selected varieties.
This Pacamara comes from one of the highest plots, at approximately 2,000 meters above sea level, where coffee is produced in very small quantities.
The Pacamara variety is known for its exceptionally large beans and its potential to develop complex, expressive, and distinctive flavor profiles.
The coffee undergoes Washed processing, supporting flavor clarity and helping the tropical fruit, orange, and red-berry notes remain clearly defined.
The result is a beautifully structured coffee with vibrant fruit character, pronounced sweetness, and a full, satisfying mouthfeel.
