From the highlands of Guji, Ethiopia, comes Plum Reverie, a beautifully expressive Natural coffee that brings together rich dark-fruit sweetness, refreshing herbal notes, and an exceptionally silky texture.

Ripe plum provides inviting sweetness, blackberry adds aromatic depth, and lemongrass introduces a distinctive freshness that brings the entire profile into balance.

Origin and Processing

Plum Reverie comes from Guji in Ethiopia's Oromia region, a high-altitude growing area celebrated for its distinctive and expressive specialty coffees.

This lot is connected to the work of Gemechu Shonora and Harruu Bunnaqaa, bringing together coffee cherries grown on family farms and by nearby smallholder producers.

The coffee grows between 1,900 and 2,200 meters above sea level, where mountain conditions contribute to the development of complex aromatic profiles.

The lot includes Kurume alongside other traditional Ethiopian local landrace varieties.

After ripe cherries are carefully selected, the coffee undergoes Natural processing. The whole cherries dry on raised beds under shade for up to 22 days.

This careful drying process supports concentrated fruit sweetness while preserving a delicate, silky character.

The result is an elegant Natural coffee reflecting the distinctive identity of Guji.
