At elevations between 1,900 and 2,200 metres, the Kurume variety and traditional local landraces are cultivated, producing coffee that reflects the distinctive character of this remarkable growing region.

Origin and Processing
This coffee comes from Gemechu Shonora's family farms and neighbouring smallholder producers around Harruu Bunnaqaa, a community with a long-standing connection to coffee cultivation.
After harvesting, ripe coffee cherries are carefully selected and spread whole across raised African drying beds, where they slowly dry under shade for up to 22 days.
This traditional natural process contributes to the development of the coffee's expressive fruit notes while preserving the delicate and elegant character of its origin.
